He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his sons, James Jr., Jeffery, Michael and Christopher; his grandchildren, Stephanie and Zachary; his sister Christene; his brother-in-law Arnold; and also, Steve, Keith, Christian, Kasey, Josh, Bob and Holly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, Floyd County Rescue Squad, or Christiansburg Church of the Brethren Music Department.
