He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston R. "Buck" Epperly and Mary B. Epperly; and his sister Rose E. Basham. He is survived by: his daughter Kelly J. Epperly; his son-in-law Brantley Walden; his son Travis W.; his daughter-in-law April Epperly; his stepgrandchildren, Carly Walden, Ben Walden and Isla McKinney; his brother-in-law James A. Basham; his niece Kesha B. Belcher; his great-nephews, Jamie and Kamren Belcher; and his close friends, John Hall, Roscoe Hall and John Paul Thomas.
A reception was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gardner Funeral Home (202 E Oxford St, Floyd, VA 24091).
