She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Adam Dickerson and Charlotte Melissa Clemmons; her husband Irvin Sowers; her grandchildren, Charlotte Troutt and Dale Browning; her children, Diane Browning (Gratton), Carolyn Troutt and Michael Sowers (Lona) of Floyd; her grandchildren, Vicky Spangler (George), Rodney Troutt of Floyd and April Goforth; her great grandchildren, Michelle (David), Christy, Christopher, Cathleen, Celena, Eric, Cameron, Jaden and Alana; and her niece Linda Turpin (Ray).
