We bid farewell to Donna Sue Lovern of Floyd, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 9, 2025 at the age of 66. Donna Sue touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Donna Sue farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Donna Sue is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Marshall and Pearlie Shark Lovern; and her brother Rory Lovern. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Garry Collins; and her siblings, Dawn Hedge (Rudy), Lonnie Lovern (Cindy Burkhardt) and Gary Lovern (Terri). She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mullins Funeral Home (120 W Main St, Radford, VA 24141). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
