He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Cecil McCoy, Sr. and Virginia Lamb McCoy; and his sister Diane Yvonne McCoy. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nicely McCoy of Millboro; his children, Suzanne Turner of Burlington, NC and Stuart McCoy (Renee) of Millboro; his grandchildren, Addison Turner, Caroline Turner, Aaron Turner and Mary Cathrine McCoy; and his great grandchild Owen Duncan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Camp ACCOVAC, 33021 Mountain Valley Road, Millboro, Virginia 24460 and to Mountain Regional Hospice Volunteers, PO Box 637, Clifton Forge, Virginia 24422.
