He was predeceased by: his parents, Hozie Conner and Izola Hylton Conner of Floyd, VA.; his wife Peggy Hope Conner; his son Michael Conner; and his brother Bobbie Conner.
He is survived by: his children, Billie Carol Linkous (Tony), Phyllis Kingery (Timmy), Phillip Conner, Melanie Collins and Tammy Wells (Robbie); his brother Donald Conner (Opaldeen); and his pet Benji. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
