She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Edward Rankin and Ethel Leann Rankin (Day); and her siblings, Edward "Eddie" Rankin and Peggy Landis (Paul). She is survived by: her husband Douglas E. Batten; her sister Dolly Floyd (Walter); her sister-in-law Betty Rankin; and her sons, Douglas R. Batten, Freddy E. Batten (Becky), Michael W. Batten and Jeffrey A. Batten (Dennetta). She is also survived by her four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In keeping with COVID-19 restrictions, family and friends may pay their respects from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home of Fishersville.
