He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall F. Strickler and Ardenia Buchanan Strickler; and his siblings, Melvin Strickler, Otis Strickler, Clara Belle, Beulah and Docia "Leen" Switzer.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie Strickler; his children, Chris Strickler (Lawanda), Valarie Ray and Pam Kelly (Scott); his grandchildren, Brandon Strickler (Adara), Alex Strickler, Ryan Strickler, Justin Bradley and Beverly Kelly; his great grandchildren, Annabell, Violet, Hazel and Johnathan; his brother Henry Strickler; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Strickler and Bill Switzer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
