He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Victor Edwards and Lora Catherine Newman Edwards; his daughter Kathey Breeden; and his siblings, Bob Edwards, Buddy Edwards, Phyllis, Kathline, Margaret, Louella and Barbara Anne.
He is survived by: his wife Ivy B. Edwards; his children, Sherman V. Edwards, Jr. and Lora Jo-Ann Parcham (Jerry Parcham); his grandchildren, Jason Harold, Ivy Harold, Kayla Harold, Brandon Edwards and Krystalin Sable Simoneaux; and his great grandchildren, Kayley Harold and Keegan Harold. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
