It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert P. Rutherford of Fishersville, Virginia, born in Lewisburg, West Virginia, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen C. Rutherford and Tennis G. Rutherford; and his former wife Janet G. Rutherford. He is survived by: his wife Barbara M. Rutherford; his daughters, Pamela S. Pangle (Bradley) of Jefferson, Julie Dindinger of Stuarts Draft, Jennifer Yancey (Mike) of Stuarts Draft and Kim Guertler (Mike) of Hartwell, Georgia; and his stepdaughter Tammy Powell (Rick) of Grottoes, Virginia. He is also survived by 3 grandsons, 5 granddaughters and 2 step grandchildren; 15 great-grandsons, 6 great-granddaughters, 1 step great-granddaughter and 2 step great-grandsons.
