He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Joffre Beverly and Ruth Wilma Beverly; and his brothers, Malcolm Jon Beverly and Robin Gayle Beverly. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Teresa Ellen Lusk (Bryan Lusk), Michael Dale Beverly, Pamela Kay Klein, Catherine Jo Jones and Ed; his grandchildren, Kristen Marie Klein, Holly Michelle Lusk, Christopher David Klein (Emma Klein), Catherine Elizabeth Simmons (Terry Simmons), Robert Michael Beverly (Tegan Beverly), Scotti Suzanne Mullen and Mary Alexandra Beverly; his sister Renee Beverly Tuebner (Ken Tuebner); and his sister-in-law Mickie Lou Beverly.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDow Funeral Home (1701 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Edward Avenue Baptist Church (222 Edward Ave, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the Augusta Memorial Park (1775 Old Goose Crk Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
