It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Virginia (Guyer) Smith of Fishersville, Virginia, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Scott "Bob" Smith of Fishersville; her parents, Dewey Lee Guyer and Esther Guyer Midkiff (Smith); and her brothers, Coy W. Guyer and Wallace L. Guyer.
She is survived by: her son Robert W. "Bobby" Smith (Terri) of Fishersville; her grandsons, Brian Bosserman (Jennifer) and Matt Bosserman (Heather); her great grandchildren, Elina, Katelyn, Irelyn, Corey and Everly; and her sisters, Lillian Mae Frank (Guyer) of Waynesboro and Patsy Halterman (Guyer) of Staunton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Augusta Memorial Park (1775 Old Goose Crk Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
