He is survived by: his son Herbert; his wife Anne; his children, Graham Chilton "Jack", Mary Mason "Molly" Carroll (Sean) and Mason Chilton Reed (Jacqueline); the parent of his children Jean Freeman Reed; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Mason "Ellie" Carroll, Preston John Carroll, Marion Penelope "Poppy" Reed and Mason Chilton Reed, Jr.; his brother Dr. James Reed (Elizabeth); his close friends, Ric Aldhizer, Max Guggenheimer, Stephen Harris, Nick St. George and Frank Fisher; his pet Rudy; and also Girbson Bijou.
