It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Donald Grove of Fishersville, Virginia, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Grayson and Mary Grove (Vint); and his siblings, George, James Grove and Lucy Lee Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Foster (Kevin) of Waverly, IA, Dr. Mark Grove of Dayton, VA and Sara Jordan (Calvin) of Fishersville; his grandsons, Grayson and Luke Jordan; his sister Nell Mcleod of Monroe, NC; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Grove of Crozet, VA.. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Lutheran Church (320 St James Rd, Fishersville, VA 22939).
