It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Messick Prettyman (Fishersville, Virginia), born in Morris Plains, New Jersey, who passed away on April 11, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Kloeblen Prettyman and Harold Messick Prettyman, Sr.; his brothers, Mahlon B. Prettyman and Palmer E. Prettyman; and his son Ronald K. Prettyman.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Neave (Rick) of Fairfax, VA, Damon (Michel) of Princess Anne, MD, Larry (Sandi) of Milton, DE and Diane Biesecker of Charlottesville, VA; and his grandchildren, Larry, Amie, Daniel, Shannon, Katie, Calvin, Robert, Alex and Kyle. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
