It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Elliott Holden of Fishersville, Virginia, who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger E. Holden and Vera Holden (Toombs) of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.; and the mother of his children Charlotte Fuller Holden. He is survived by: his wife Alice Holden (Ogden); his sons, Raymond E. Holden (Maryellen) of Orange, CT and Bruce F. Holden (Sherry) of Spottswood; his stepdaughter Elizabeth Geris Sacco (James); his siblings, Robert L. Holden (Donna) of West Boylston, MA, Dr. Herbert R. Holden (Rebecca) of Seneca Falls, NY and Janet Holden Gibeling (Howard) of Williamsburg, VA; his grandchildren, Eric Holden (Ashley), Rachel Holden (Cristian Mortali) and Katherine Holden; and his niece Kim Sullenger.
