He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Mathias Vreuls and Jane Baltic Vreuls; his wife Margaret Elizabeth Schilling Vreuls; his daughter-in-law Jacqueline Annette Carton Vreuls; and his brother-in-law Stuart Friebert.
He is survived by: his children, Teri Genevieve Vreuls Maerki, David Vreuls and Jon Vreuls; his grandchildren, Christopher Maerki (Kristi), Maegan Abugideiri (Yusuf), Katelyn Whittington (Nathan), Colleen Maerki, Briana Vreuls, Erika Vreuls and Katharina Vreuls; his great grandchildren, Noah, Rian Abugideiri and Brynn Whittington; his sister Diane Vreuls Friebert; his niece Sarah Friebert; his nephew Steven Friebert (Naomi); his sister-in-law Carol Rafferty Dierkes (Gil); and also Kazu.
