It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Wayne Surratt of Fishersville, Virginia, born in Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on July 19, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Surratt, Sr. and Dorothy Surratt (Lotts); his sons, Douglas Surratt and John Surratt; and his brothers, Chester Surratt, Jr. and Daniel L. Surratt.
He is survived by: his wife Janet C. Surratt (Coughlan); his children, Tim W. Surratt (Julia) of Weyers Cave, Matt David Surratt (Amanda) of Fishersville, Stuart Dixon (Heather) of Oakland, California, Peyton Martin (Corey) of Powhatan and Anne Bell (Lee) of Staunton; his sister Linda Smith (Jerry) of Staunton; his grandchildren, Brandie (Chuck), Sarah, Hannah, Tiffany, Charlotte, Clara, Stephen, Sadie, Silas, Gus, Gray, Maddox and Brittany; and his great grandchild Scottie.
