We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2019, at the age of 100, Charlie William Johnson (Fishersville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Matthew Johnson and Lucy Johnson (Powell); his daughter Gail Phillips; his grandson Corey Phillips; his great grandchild Annastine Elizabeth Bodkin; his grandson-in-law Mark Bodkin; and his siblings, Orey, Fletcher, Mitchell, Joe, Aubrey Johnson and Gertrude Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Johnson (Tomlin) of Waynesboro; his daughter Delores Rodgers (Thomas) of Waynesboro; his granddaughters, Michelle Conley (Bob) of Waynesboro and Angela Bodkin; his great grandchildren, Rhiannon Bodkin, Morguean Hatch, Mitch Conley and Andrew Conley; his great great grandchild Alice Hatch; and his sisters, Lucy Mays of Rustburg, VA and Mildred Martin of Afton, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Fishersville Baptist Church, the Daily Living Center, or the Hospice of the Shenandoah.
