It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Martin Gibson of Fishersville, Virginia, born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maybelle Shipp and Clarence Martin; her husband William Harold Gibson; and her former husband Wilbur H. Fletcher. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Hunt (Gary Hunt) and Teresa Davis (Scott Davis); her sister Brenda Lucas (Scottie Lucas); and her grandchildren, Daniel Davis, Jennifer Virbickis and Norah Hunt. She is also survived by two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
