He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Nelson and Mazie Griffin Turner; and his sister Marie Hinkle (Edwin) of Franklin, WV.. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Turner (Siron); his sons, Carlton Dean (Tena) of Fishersville and Duane Nelson (Catina) of Stuarts Draft; and his siblings, Eddie Kyle (Ina) of Staunton and Hilda Conner (Billy) of Churchville.
