She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Rose and Albert "Chuck" Ross; her son Albert Wade; her daughter-in-law Diane Wade; her brother Leroy Rose; and her close friend James Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Johnson, Kay Wade (Paul), John Wade, Winfred Wade, Angel Woodard, Ava Sheffey, Leroy Carter and Bernard Johnson; her brother Marcellus Rose; her sister-in-law Sylvia Wade (Mae); her grandchildren, Sheree Parker-Barney (Tony), Lamont Sheffey, Cevi Wade, Alta Louise Wade, Amy Woodard and Tiara Ellis (Rob); her great grandchildren, Damien, Griffin (Regina), Christopher, Raesaun, Dariel, Leon, Gregory, Avah D, Joshua, Diane, Dylan, Kathleen, Tyson, Isabella and Tyler; her caregivers, Nakia Wade, Margie Jones-Terrell and Arlene Golden; and also, Delores Winston (George), Barbara Jean Wade and Tee McCarthy. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
