She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Whitney and Mary Alice Shepherdson Whitney; her son Jeffrey Park; and her sister Pam Wordell. She is survived by: her husband David Hellmann; her sons, Wayne Park (Machelle) and Brian Park; and her siblings, Ardele Suozzo, Norma Coates and Jack Whitney.
