He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Elizabeth "Lib" Vari Ball; his wife Patty Ryan Maloney Vari; his daughter Elizabeth Ryan Vari Mutcheson (Liz); his son-in-law Brock Mutcheson; his son Richard Alexander Vari (Alex); his daughter-in-law Jill Robideaux Vari; and his grandchildren, Sylvia Elizabeth Mutcheson, Ryan Irene Mutcheson, Gibson Charles Vari and Eloise Victoria Vari. He was also cherished by mother-in-law, aunts-in-law, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and niece, first cousins, and a couple of 'brothers from another mother.
