He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Mathew and Virginia Louise Childs Lucas; his wife Lorene; and his daughter Bonnie Sue Ruscigno. He is survived by: his son Kevin; his daughter-in-law Melissa Lucas of Buchanan; his daughter Patricia; his son-in-law Ricky Brookshier of Fincastle; his grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah Lucas and Derrick Brookshier (Amanda); and his siblings-in-law, Margaret, Larry Blair of Alabama, Nancy Davis of Richmond, Martha, Don Hanger of Churchville, Virginia and Peggy Waldron of Salem. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
