He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Monroe King and Ester Hancock King; and his brother-in-law Tom Emerson. He is survived by: his wife Carlene Joan Sower King; his stepson Jimmy Adams (Barbara); his stepgrandsons, Calvin Martin and Chad Adams; his sisters-in-law, Madeline Emerson and Jean Hall; his nieces, Wendy Hankins and Donna Vernon; and his nephew Daniel Booth.
