It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy Allen Burgess of Fieldale, Virginia, born in Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Tracy Lane Waddell; his stepfather Conley Eugene Waddell; and his grandparents, Katherine M. Seay, Henry D. Williams, Toney L. Seay, F. C. Burgess, Elizabeth Roberts Burgess, J. P., Marie Barbour, Paul and Nannie Waddell.
He is survived by: his parents, Richard Allen Burgess (Maryann) and Kay Williams Barbour (Don); his stepmother Janet Waddell; and his siblings, Dennis Earl Waddell (Connie), Duane Burgess (Paula) and Angie Kurczewski. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
