She is survived by: her husband Daniel Gilbert; her daughters, Caredene Lampkin Jamison (Julius), Kenyonna L. Carter and Danielle L. Gilbert; her sisters, Frances King, Janie Preston, Lessie Stockton, Barbara Ann Hollard and Rosie Tinsley; her parents-in-law, Adrene Cox and William Gilbert; and her siblings-in-law, Doretha Jones, Carrie Spencer, Kenneth Gilbert, Benjamin Gilbert and Steven Gilbert (Marilou Gilbert). She is also survived by her family, especially her fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
