She was predeceased by: her father Edward Schoefield; her husband Howard Wooten, Jr.; her sons, Noel Wooten and Lazarus Wooten; and her siblings, Dorothy Schoefield, Helen Schoefield, Susan Nelson, Doretha Rosemond, Katie Wooten, Henry Schoefield, Edward Schoefield and Willie Schoefield.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Wooten Burgess, Teresa Wooten Wilson, Lillie Harris (Al), Phillip Wooten (Deloris) and Micah Wooten (Treela); her siblings, Ada Moorman, Thelma Marsh, Isaiah Schoefield and Samuel Schoefield; her grandchildren, Desiree Burgess, Quintessa Wooten, Keisha Wooten, Kimberly Wooten, Khadijah Wilson and Kenneth Wilson, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Olivia Akers and Makari Wilson.
