She was predeceased by: her parents, George Abe Staples and Geneva Hairston Staples Parker; her son Torrance C. Sneed; and her stepfather David Allen Parker. She is survived by: her sons, Byron A. Sneed (Teresa) and Darren M. Sneed (Chong); her grandchildren, Shameka Sneed, Corinna Sneed Donner, Darren Sneed Jr., Byron Sneed Jr., Cierra D. Sneed and Brooklyn I. Sneed; her great grandchildren, Avamarie, Brady, CaliMarie, Oliver, Zoey, Calvin, Arthur, Dakaari, Namarri and Julius; and her sisters, Dorothy Staples Draper and Daisy Parker Hairston. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church (338 John Baker Rd, Fieldale, VA 24078). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Staples Family Cemetery.
