She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra D. Reynolds and Mae Adams Reynolds; her husband Sanford M. Custer; her son Charles D. Custer; and her sisters, Evelane Clark and Gano Wray.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Sue Jenkins (John A.). She is also survived by several step-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
