He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Gearhart and Rosa Gearhart; and his siblings, David Gearhart, Russell Gearhart and Barbara Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Gearhart; his son Daniel Gearhart; his siblings, Jimmy, Harold (Mary), Barry Gearhart (Anne) and Betty Ferguson (Ronnie); and his brother-in-law Steve Crook (Dot).
