She was predeceased by: her daughter Tiffany Rachel Utt; her grandson Justin Chase Prillaman; her brother Ronald Gray; and her father-in-law Lester Maxey. She is survived by: her husband Robert Maxey (Bobby Joe); her children, Justina Spencer, Cody Bailey, Lyssa Ratcliff and Timmy Utt; her grandchildren, Matt Prillaman, Harley, Hayden, London, Molly and Marie; her sister Shirley Knapp; her niece Donna Whitlock; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley, Zachary, Carla, Raliegh, Brantley, Paisley and Everly; her mother-in-law Frances Maxey; her pets, Bella, Daisy and Kona; and her close friend Nancy Smith.
A reception was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
