Lloyd Bridges Sr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lloyd Bridges Sr. of Ferrum, Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bridges and Mary Ester Bridges. He is survived by: his brothers, Ernest and Floyd Bridges; his brother-in-law Samuel Warren Shively; his wife Shirley Bridges; his children, Leonora Bridges (Michael Guilliams), Lloyd Bridges, Jr. (Lorie), Jason Bridges (Deana) and Melissa Austin (Robert); his grandchildren, Zach (Kelley), Jared (Alex), Kiley, Jaden, Patrick, Dylan and Avery; his great grandchildren, Baylor and Parker; his sister Ellen Shively; his cousin Joe Bridges; and his close friends, Charlie Lee "Cotton" Adkins, Travis Pendleton, David Rezendes and Paul Simms. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
