He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Christine Smith; his parents, Bunyon Shively and Essie Shively; his in-laws, Kyle and Gertrude Smith; his brothers, Bobby Shively and Wayne; his sister-in-law Mazel Shively; his sister Vicky Shively Fox; his sister-in-law Zelma Boyd (Monroe); and his nephew Everett Wayne Shively, Jr. (Joe).
He is survived by: his daughter Carmen Shively Goff; his son-in-law Chris Goff; his grandchildren, Margaret, Jonathan and Catherine Elizabeth Goff; his sister Diane; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Shively, Johnny Fox, Watson Smith (Mary Ann), Darlene Hudson (Mark) and Allen Smith (Patricia). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
