She was predeceased by: her husband Donald W. Handy; her parents, Giles L. Young and Nealie Adeline Young; her siblings, Herbert H. Young, Wilson L. Young, Nealie F. Harris and Rosa C. Childress; and her son-in-law John D. Webb Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Webb of Rocky Mount and Elton Allen of Decatur, GA; her grandchildren, Amanda Webb of Salem, OR and Jordan Webb of Ferrum; and her sister Janie M. Wagoner of Ferrum. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
