He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ray Hale and Mary Holley Hale Wright; his brother Michael Ray Hale; and his aunt Rosie Willard. He is survived by: his brothers, Larry Wayne Hale (Barbara) and Danny Ray Hale (Judy); his nieces and nephews, Michael Hale, Steven Hale, April Goforth and Barbara Hale Gammons; and his aunts, Pauline Haskins of Chatham and Annie Holley of Rocky Mount.
