He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Davis and Annie Draper Davis; and his siblings, James Davis, Jr., Douglas Davis, Curtis Davis and Betty Ann Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Goldie Janney Davis; his son Andrew M. Davis, Jr (Pee Wee); his grandchildren, Andrew Brett Davis and Amber Brooke Lunsford (Josh); his great grandchild Emma Drew Lunsford; and his siblings, Eunice Finney and Billy Davis (Era).
