She was predeceased by: her father William Ogle Sanford; her son J. W. Hamilton (Katie); and her siblings, Nora Beasley, Gene Balderson, Frankie Sanford and Nancy Phillips.
She is survived by: her mother Lorena Sanford; her husband James Ray Hamilton, Jr.; her son Barry Hamilton (Brittany); her daughter-in-law Kristina Hamilton; her grandchildren, Shia Hamilton, Carleigh Hamilton, Natalee Hamilton, Mason Douglas, Carson Hamilton, Gene Hamilton, Aubree Hamilton and Donnie Carroll; her siblings, Margaret Moss, Mamie "Sissy" Jones and Calvin Balderson (Rita); her brothers-in-law, Tommie Hamilton (Christy) and George Hamilton (Becca); and her close friend Wanda Childs. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and good friends.
