She was predeceased by: her husband John Richard Courtney; and her daughter Nancy Carol DeJean. She is survived by: her sons, John Richard Courtney Jr. (Sherry) and Jerry Wayne Courtney (Lisa); her son-in-law Albert Lee DeJean Jr. (Butch); and her grandchildren, Christopher Courtney, Joni Shortt, Lauren Hudson, Daurne'Gilmartin and Albert DeJean III (Lee). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
