She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John R. Self and Rosie Lee Self; her spouse Willie Gladstone Mothershead; and her children, W. G. "Billy" Mothershead, Jr. (Jane), Dehlia M. Jackson (Lewis) and Lehlia M. Hardy (Ronnie). She was also cherished by eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
