He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Talmadge Gilreath and Viola A. Hipps Gilreath; his daughter Jessica Y. Gilreath; and his brothers, Daniel Gilreath, Phillip Gilreath and Tim Gilreath.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Prescott Gilreath; his son Jason Gilreath (Kelley); his grandchildren, Bradley Hedges, Chelsea Smith (Austin), Kennon Turner (Delaney) and Cameron Gilreath; his great grandchildren, Kaelyn Hall and Wren Turner; his sisters, Linda Adams (R. M.) and Addie Clements; and his niece Kate Grimes.
