It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Neil Shapiro Sr. of Farmville, Virginia, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Shapiro and Louise Shapiro; and his children, Deborah Sue, Walter "Neil" Jr., Donald Eugene and Timothy Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Sue; his son Paul Arthur; and his siblings, Sarah, Juanita (Died) and Norman Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
