He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Moore and Mamie Whiteside Moore; his wife Marigold Moore; and his siblings, William Frazier Moore, Jack Dennis Moore, George William Moore Jr. and Madeline Moore Kokotinis.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Moore (Tina) of Farmville, VA, Lorinda Sauer (Douglas) of Victoria, VA and Michelle Moore (Brenda) of Farmville, VA; his grandchildren, Jonathan Moore (Kristen), Joshua Moore (Reva), Jordan Moore, Jeannette Good (Stephen), Nicholas Deskins (Alexis) and Aiden Hackney; and his siblings, David Lee Moore, James Kenneth Moore, Pauline Mottley (Billy), Joyce Morris (Jimmy) and Debbie Watson (Ken). He is also survived by 6 great-grandsons, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the American Diabetes Foundation and the National Kidney Foundation.
