She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Hatcher; her husband Robert Lewis Billbrough; her sister Ruby Burley; and her son-in-law Steve Giggley. She is survived by: her children, James "Jimmy" Shanks Jr. (Faith) and Barbara Ann Giggley; and her grandchildren, James, Mary, Brian, Shannon, Samantha, Bryan, Brenda and Janice. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 25 great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Maranatha Baptist Church.
