It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Jane Beasley (Farmville, Virginia), born in Appomattox, Virginia, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Beasley and Mattie Walker Beasley; her son Marlon Beasley; her siblings, Daniel Beasley, Etta Mae Beasley and Joyce Mitchell; and her nephew Loydeeka Mitchell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joseph Beasley (Shirley), Mattie Lyle of Pamplin and Darlene Lee (Elvis) of Meherrin; her uncle Albert Beasley of Prospect, Virginia; her friend Dennis Smith of Prospect, Virginia; her nieces, Lakeisha Beasley, TaQuita Wilkins and Katashee Wilder; her nephew Lamar Beasley; her great-niece Kaelyn Smith; her close friend Barbara Walker (Brenda Crawley); and her friends, Darlene Walker, Sarah Sprague and Clara Shepherdson. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
