With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Finch Metcalf (Farmville, Virginia), who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Moddie Meadows and William Finch; her husband George Metcalf; and her son Ronnie Metcalf. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Sharon; her grandson Ron (Beth); her great grandchildren, MaKenzie and Kole; her daughter Cheryle Dixon (Jerry); her grandson Harry (Ashley); her great grandchild Finch; her granddaughter Stacy Dixon (Evan Holder); and her sisters, Esther Coleman and Lois Bowles. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Spring Creek Baptist Church or the Darlington Heights Fire Department.
