He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Branch and Forrest Branch. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Carter; his children, Carla Vaughan (Godfrey) and Robert Carter; his stepson Les Pierce; his grandchildren, Siarra Carter, Isaiah Pierce, Robert Carter and Jacob Carter; his great grandchildren, Christian Carter and Jace Garrison; and his niece Nicole Henry.
