He is survived by: his wife Tammie Jo Hackney; his son John Michael Hackney; his parents, Laura J. Hogan and John W. Hackney; and his brothers, Mike Hogan, Leslie Hackney and Aiden Hackney.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Puckett Funeral Home (115 Covington Ct, Farmville, VA 23901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
