We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2024, at the age of 78, Joe Peyton Irving of Farmville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Irving; his son Joe P. Irving, II (Lara); his grandchildren, Joe Peyton III, Lucy and Walker; his son Jeffrey Irving, Sr.; his grandchildren, Madison, Kaitlyn and Jeffrey Jr.; his child Courtney Irving (Brittany); his grandchildren, Rayah and Emma; his child Casey Irving; his brother L. L. Irving; and his siblings-in-law, Tommy Nelson and Tiny Dobson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Douglas Presbyterian Church (mail to: 6157 Abilene Rd. Farmville, VA 23901, Irving Memorial Fund).We find comfort in knowing that Joe's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
